Our New Normal
Whew! What a roller coaster ride these last few months have been. Governor Cooper announced today that cases are started to steady out and there seems to be a glimmer of light flickering at the end of this tunnel.

In the meantime, many of us have found creative ways to meet of fitness needs and even knock down new goals for ourselves.

I've tried to help by providing a mix of in-studio and online classes that hopefully are able to support you all during this time. 

If you feel like you've fallen off the wagon, start today! Put one foot in front of the other and DO SOMETHING! Anything.

In addition to both in-studio and streaming classes, did you know we have a private Facebook support group? This is a great way to connect with your fitness-minded peers while you're possibly still stuck at home!

A "Thank You" From New Age

I mentioned this in my last email but I wanted to expand upon my plans for future draft plans.

For quite some time before the shutdown I had been planning to increase my monthly draft rate. When I first created the draft program, we had a total of five weekly classes. At $30 per month, and $5 per class, this was a decent deal for anyone attending a couple weekly classes.

However, as the class schedule increased (and, therefore, my weekly payments to teachers and other related expenses began to increase), I knew it was time to raise the rate. Then COVID hit and we went from 11-12 weekly classes to none.

As a small business owner, it was devestating to work so hard to build up classes and to have to completely close my doors. However, so many of you stepped up and said "keep drafting me." I still get emotional just typing out the words.

Since that time, many of those people have, understandably, suffered their own financial hardships and had to cancel their drafts. Others, however, have stuck with us the entire time! And I've tried, in return, to find creative-yet-safe ways to meet all of your fitness and wellness needs.

I look at this ongoing support you all have provided as an investment in New Age. An investment that ensures we will still be here for you when things return to normal. Because of that, anyone who is currently signed up on draft with this modified schedule at the time I increase the class schedule and, in turn the monthly draft rate, will remain locked in at $30 for at least one year after that time and will always receive a lower rate than new customers for as long as they are consistently part of our draft program.

This is my "thank you" to all of you and to anyone between now and then who chooses to join us and help support us during this trying time.

Current Online and In-Studio Classes
We currently are offering in-studio classes on a very limited basis. There are lots of rules to follow to keep us safe so make sure you check out the rules along with the schedule here. The price for these in-person classes is currently $10 due to the limited spaces available. Classes are still free to all draft members. 

We are currently offering three classes per week in addition to our growing library of YouTube videos. This option is by donation only which means everyone has access to this, regardless of ability to pay. That being said, it is worth noting, that I am able to continue to offer this to everyone at no charge due to the generosity of my loyal patrons who have continued to support the studio during this time. I would not still be here without all of your support! 

THERE IS ONE CHANGE GOING INTO EFFECT IN AUGUST FOR OUR WEEKLY ONLINE SCHEDULE! Instead of the weekly 6:30pm Online Yoga (which was not seeming to be very appealing for our "work out at home folks") we will now have a 12pm Wednesday class called Mid-Week Wildcard Workout.

I'm actually pretty excited about this class! Each week will be a completely different format. It may be yoga, cardio, pilates, etc. The purpose will be not only to keep things fresh but also to make sure we are rounding out your weekly workout routine so the goal will be to give you guys a Wednesday workout that compliments the Monday/Friday strength workouts. 

This class will usually be live but may sometimes be recorded ahead of time as there will be occasional scheduling conflicts. 

I'm also attempting to stream my Tuesday 10:00am in-studio Yoga Class each week. It was a little messy this week but I'm getting the hang of it so try tuning in next Tuesday and hopefully it will, at the very least, remind you that we're still here!
